Puff Pastry Cinnamon Rolls

Quick and easy puff pastry cinnamon rolls in under 25 mins!

Ingredients
  

For The Cinnamon Rolls
  • 1 package 2 sheets frozen puff pastry, thawed in the refrigerator overnight
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar (light or dark)
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp salt
For The Glaze
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tbsp milk (1-3 additional tsp as needed)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Method
 

Instructions For Rolls
  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Line baking sheet with parchment paper
  3. Combine brown sugar,sugar, cinnamon, and salt in a small bowl
  4. Unfold 1 puff pastry sheet so that the folds are left and ride with the seam running vertically
  5. Using half the melted butter, brush the sheet to the edges
  6. Sprinkle the sugar mixture evenly over the pastry sheet, leaving a 1 inch border on all sides
  7. Roll the pastry sheet into a log, from one end to the other, leaving the seam on the bottom
  8. Trim ½ inch from each end and discard
  9. Slice roll into 8 equal pieces, approximately 1-1 ⅓ inches wide
  10. Repeat with second pastry sheet
  11. Arrange rolls evenly on parchment lined baking sheet and bake for 18-22 minutes, until tops are golden brown
  12. Allow rolls to cool on wire rack
Instructions For Glaze
  1. Combine powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk using a whisk
  2. Add milk or powdered sugar as needed. Consistency should be easily pourable but still thick
  3. Pour glaze over rolls once cooled
  4. Add pecans on top of glaze
